How fitting that my last posts will be that of my last outing at tamu kianggeh in bandar with the sharpshooters. After all bandar360 was inspired from bandar, my bandar, our bandar. My new year resolutions? Not really a resolutions, just my life motto. Just Live it, Learn it as we go along.. accept ofcos a new camera body!We've come to last day of the year, so many clicks, so many moments captured on my CANON. The pics that followed are the scenes from the last of JC session for the year, where we had a chance to touch the beautiful Abigail ( gorjeous!) and a lens baby and then an impromptu tamu kianggeh outing.

The heavy downpour last nite has caused major floods all over Brunei-Muara district. In the case of bandar, it turned into a river. I was caught in the rain, waiting till visibility was slightly clearer to safely drive home...

She passed away peacefully and serenely just like her life, a gentle and serene figure that binds the family together with her love and presence. We had that special bond together, a bond much deeper than a grandparent and grandchild. She was my confidant, my other parent, my best friend. I will miss our Saturday morning breakfast together but most of all I will miss everything about her.…

Last nite, Damuan river were transformed into the Chao Phraya where the Thai community in Brunei gathered to celebrate the Loy Krathong (or Loi Kratong, Thai ลอยกระทง) under the full moon.
According to Wiki;
"Loi” means “to float”. “Krathong” is a raft about a handspan in diameter traditionally made from a section of banana tree trunk (although modern-day versions often use styrofoam), decorated with elaborately-folded banana leaves, flowers, candles, incense sticks etc. During the night of the full moon, many people will release a small raft like this on a river. Governmental offices, corporations and other organizations also build much bigger and more elaborate rafts, and these are often judged in contests. In addition, fireworks and beauty contests take place during the festival.
At the cross road of life with no directions at all, which road do we take? The left, the right straight ahead......or stay put.??
