I missed out on a good JC morning eventho I came in earlier, but had to leave for duty. Sorry bugs! My whole Sunday gone, zero and to top it off it was an exhausting one.

My Monday was a long one too....*sigh

Its a good thing I came in for the Y-class today, helps me relax and clears my head!!

Poolside and Poses 2

I prefer black and white to colour, its simple and shows more essence. I found out that we were caught in action HERE . Didn't realised we were shot too! Always good to meet new people and bloggers. It was a good learning, shooting models in very low light. Not easy but have to be creative. Not many shots to choose from but the rest of the pics can be found HERE

Sleepless in HK.

sunset in Kowloon

True to the reference of friends, word of mouth and the many guide books, this city never sleeps. Trams, express trains, buses, ferries and automobiles are all lifeline of the city. Buildings and landmarks are connected by labyrinth of walkways and tunnels which makes it easier to navigate around and escape the chilly weather at this time. The excellent and cleverly layout transport system in this ultra compact, tightly packed city makes it so accessible to move about among the two islands, Hong Kong and Kowloon. It takes a good pair of walking shoes and stamina ( ..and a BIG credit card for the retail addicts!!) to keep up with this fast city. After a few days in this city of colourful nightlife, inhaling the salty air, listening to the sounds of Hong Kong chaos and the sights of being one of the millions crammed in one small place, I'm so glad to be home.

A vacation away from home is good for the mind and soul especially with the one you love, but nothing, nothing beats peaceful home........

Hello 2007

Hello 2007. A new day in a new year....
New Year's Eve was a small dinner over a barbie. As predicted, the monsoon rain came down heavily but died down before midnite. We did manage to make the better of it, Good times and good food.
I convinced everyone to go Bandar after the Countdown....

Happy New Year...

The Day After..

Christmas eve dinner was a blast with the rocking band and a chance to get together with the gangs before they all leave bandar for their holiday destinations.
I had Christmas lunch the next day organised by the sibs. Every year my SIL would organise the annual ritual of a Turkey roast lunch with other festive food on Christmas day. The best part of the day would be the exchange of gifts plus this year's menu included the wet and wild bouncing castle with extra extra soap/pool party for the kids and the adults too, all in their merry merry spirit!

A Manjaroans Xmas..

Mr. Qlap is alive! After a long hiatus he finally updated his blog with infos on the promotions on the Manjaro Christmas Eve Special Dinner or u can go to the Manjaro website. It looks good! I know it won't be as lavish and as over the top as what the big hotels promo around but in life isn't simplicity better? and with a LIVE band thrown in, its definitely a good deal and a guaranteed good time.

Walking & Hunting.

The Sporty Team Desperate Housewives

It was a lethargic Monday so lets talk about Sunday.......

Sunday was anything but lazy as I was in Bandar involved in the Helix @Discover Walk-a-Hunt organised by BSM, to commerate the official day of renaming Brunei Town to Bandar Seri Begawan every October which this year had to be postponed due to the fasting month. It was a good turn out, all teams and organisers in their blue T's, including many local bloggers and some photobloggers joining in the fun. I'm sure they have posted their first hand account & snaps in their blogs.

The hunt also involved a series of tasks in the form of games for which each team are to take part to gain points. Each team will get points by performing successfully any of the games, one was the sumpit-the-balloon games...

This guy tried...

Suffian under his SPF 90 tried....even that guy from Alleycats tried???

It was good fun.It was also a good oppurtunity for me to walk around town and shoot some snaps... more pics soon.

Festive Bday...

Birthdays which fall in December celebrate with that extra festive feeling with Christmas and New Year celebrations just round the corner....

Happy Birthday babes...

Something to rant about,
When the invites says 'By Invites Only' does not mean more than the invited. I find it stupid how some people have no shame to actually bring guests to strictly invites sit down do and not even informing the host...!!

Monday Moan

It's the dreaded Monday.....Only to be saved with an extra 2 hour plus of sleep due to Mandatory off which needs to be cleared before year end. A Good Monday then and a much needed one after the hectic week.

Lets talk about TVs & Movies ( and some possible spoilers too!!) since there are so many selections around;

  1. Erwin and Godwin, the only Asian team in the Amazing Race was eliminated. Serves them right for being too nice and polite. At the end of the day this is a cutthroat race for that $1 Million. Now I m rooting for the Bamas...

  2. Grey's Anatomy Season 3. Spoilers..Do not read!!! Will Grey and McDreamy or will there not? McSteamy and what's next? (I know makes me think of McDonalds Happy Meal.) This is where producers like to play around in circle in order to get the fans coming for more. Sometimes it can backfire too. I love the naive Grey and the frank Christina. We shall wait for more......

  3. The Tyra Banks Show. Stick to Victoria Secrets and America's Next Top Model girl...We don need another Oprah to get liars to confess and Tom to frantically show his love!

  4. Casino Royale 7/10 .Bond: British arrogance at its best...

  5. The Devil's wear Prada 8/10. Meryll Streep is briliiant and worth another Oscar...That's all!

  6. Gubra 7/10.Yasmin's film lacking the strength of Sepet...nevertheless her movie is identifiable and barrier breaking.( bare butt and some word reffering to cheese with a man anatomy??? hehe) That judge in AF, what;s his name Adlin?? is not very convincing.

  7. Half Nelson 6/10 ( Independent movie that revolves around a Teacher who is addicted to crytsal meth and his relationship with one of his student..Highly recommended, with good acting and storyline!)

  8. AXN Ultimate Fighting Champion. I like..no question about it.

  9. Heroes. With so many buzz about this series that I need to download it. It's apparently like people with superpowers...I like that!

Some new additions to the household.....
