Sit Still

sandysunset5
Having a semi-slow day;
Sit still and silently take in the golden sunset. Listen to the water massaging your feet. The soothing sound of the waves. The beautiful sky. The cool wind against your face. Breath in. Release. It only takes a minute....

R-Wood

I joined the lads to this new place overlooking the world, bandar. Reminds me of that famous place that ends with 'wood' Hills, although not that high and no benches. Beautiful.

Hornbill Show

Post lunch, after another long day. This little guy made my day, perched outside the palm tree right next to my work desk foraging on the brightly-ripen berries.

Fresh Sunday

Our abode of peace is surrounded by tropical waters abundant and rich in sea life. Infact, our seafood catch is almost as competitive as the neighbouring country. Last Sunday, we decided to catch the morning market rush at Pasar Jerudong when all the fresh catch has just arrived from the sea still fresh and sometimes still alive and kicking. Armed with my favorite 50mm on my 40D, I decided to catch the sights and scenes.

We decided to pick this little fella which weighs 800 gram for a good sunday meal over a hot charcoal and at $10 a pop. That's really reasonable.

A squeeze of lime and some chili oil with garlic butter. The rest is ..Yummy!

Trekking High Up

I had the privilege to join the team for a day trekking high up Batu Apoi in Temburong. It was after the rain when we arrived so the trek was pretty much slippery and muddy. After that long winding trek up, we came to this big boulders very nicely laid as if man-made.
The final trek up was the last leg and the view at the top, All I can say is ...WOW.
Can we say KNK?
