Even with a hot Sunday like today and low sugar levels from fasting, Bruneians are out in full force; Shopping season is here again plus its the Brunei Grand sale, the time of the year where we Bruneians over spent up to the nines, which explained the millions of debt we've accumulated. The next couple of weeks expect jams and chaos to roads leading to all commercial zones..G' Luck!

Another year older so time to celebrate with a cake and especially special when it is mine. How time flies! Thank u all for being there ......

Ramadhan

I can't help thinking but we Bruneians do over do it or should I say over indulge our appetite during the sungkai, and even sahur for that matter. Even me. Guilty! But how can we not, for every Ramadhan month Brunei turn into a food paradise with the gerai and foodstalls all over and at every corner of every kampungs....Lets also not forget that what fasting month is all about. Selamat Berpuasa.

Tasty Treat

Last nite was the celebration to mark the end of the ghost month. While everybody else was celebrating the moon cake festivities, I was high on these. Never underestimate my appetite hahaha. Yes after this pic I finished them all....Burp!

Today is the last Sunday before the coming puasa. Wait the minute! This is not JC but the food taste as good...

Northern Cuisine

I had a fine meal at this place. From the starter to the main courses of lamb, lamb ( yes we had 2 kinds of it.) and served with briyani in shiny tin bowls and stone cooked naan, the taste was just right, just nice and just enough, at Zaika.

River Cruise

I brought a foreign colleague on a river cruise as part of a site visit today. It was a good clear day, beautiful sky. The boat was pretty fast and he was holding on really tightly to the boat. The last time I went on one, it was arranged by my long lost photographer friend who had gone MIA.
