Macro Morning

Macro Outing???? True...that first pic is not a macro. Coincidently during our macro outing at Tasek Lama, a group from DCA were having a day out. You would think I missed this opportunity to take some panning shots...

I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of macro photography, it takes a lot of patience ( ..which I simply don have!) especially if the subject is micro insects and after a while looking thru macro lens, u get that 'pening' effect from the eye strain. Thanks to the group today, I learned some pointers on macro especially the art of stunning the insects with a flash burst.

I saw an accident today. A car skidded and flipped. The driver was injured, slammed onto the windscreen during the collision. At this instant my first thought was not to move the driver and keep talking to him.
I'm posting this to remind;

All Drivers to drive within Speed Limit and Give Way to other.

Speed can do damage, real DAMAGE.

Today in the middle of a meeting break, I was asked the question about blogging and about this site. WTF, I wanted to run but I was cornered and all eyes were on me waiting as if I'm being preyed on. What happen to my anonymity? Out the window.

It was not bad actually, it was all just in my head. In respond I went on to explain that this is a photoblog, my photojournal on anything and everything, with my passion for photography. In other words, I blog because I want!

Zero Sunday

I missed out on a good JC morning eventho I came in earlier, but had to leave for duty. Sorry bugs! My whole Sunday gone, zero and to top it off it was an exhausting one.

My Monday was a long one too....*sigh

Its a good thing I came in for the Y-class today, helps me relax and clears my head!!

I have been blogging in public lately since my home line is still down. Tonite it was coffeebean bandar as I m a big fan of their Moroccon Mint Latte plus the manager is friendly and pleasant. I also enjoy absorbing the bandar atmosphere with the majestic golden dome in the background.

Just Trois

I woke up at 545 am today to take part in the SMARTER 5 Hills Challenge. Overall; Tasek was a breather and Subok was a 'lunge' step workout and Markucing like always is a mini Shahbandar. Finally after completing Bukit Markucing in the heat of the sun, at 1013 HRS, my legs decided 3 Hills would do. (Visit anakbrunei, re:locate, aku and stupidlogic for more.....)

Something caught my eye at 3rd Hill.....

Yes, this was participants from Kg Subok who took part, a nini with her grandchildren and she was fast walking!! Amazing. What's your excuse for not joining???

Istana Darussalam

Little is known about this palace, the Istana Darussalam. This historical building is located at the edge of Bandar, hidden amongst the sleepy Kg Sumbiling Lama. This palace was the late Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin's resident before his coronation and the birth place of His Majesty in 1946.

This is also my kampung, where I grew up back in the 1980's, my childhood playgrounds.

Something New

After only 2 days (Yes, u heard me right, 2 days from it was shipped!!) I received my new baby delivered to my house by the Fedex. Now I need to go out now and test this baby........

I had a chance to cover a Fashion Show by an up-and-coming local designer, Aniq Gallery. Accordig to the designer, the collection catered for all woman and the collection's theme was Princess. I covered the event from the chaos backstage till the show's finale.

Next will be a photoshoot of the models and outfit.....BeautifuL!
